Where is Birdland and how should I get there?

We are located at 315 West 44th St, between 8th and 9th Ave’s. The closest subway station is 42nd St Port Authority, and there are multiple parking garages on this street as well.

What is the difference between the Club and Theater?

Birdland Theater, located on the lower level, is an intimate, cabaret-style venue with a classic bar. Both seating options offer a large Italian menu, decadent desserts, chef-curated wines, and other classic cocktails and beers. The Club is our ground level space and both floors offer accessible seating.

The images and floor maps below provide you with an idea of each space.

Each performance is approximately 75 minutes long.

Seating

What time should I arrive?

Door Opening times vary on the day of the week, see the event listing for exact times.
All of our seating is first come, first served so arriving early will help get you seated closer to the stage.
We reserve the right to release your tickets 10 minutes after the scheduled start time if you have not arrived.
If you are running late, please call us at 212-581-3080.

Do you seat incomplete parties?

Yes, only one person from each party needs to be here in order to be seated and claim a table.

Can we be seated after the performance begins?

If you are running late, you must call or email us before the performance begins. We will release all unclaimed seats 10 minutes after the show has begun unless we are notified that your party will be late.

Ticketing

What is the best way to get tickets?

Take a look at our full lineup of events on the Calendar tab. Birdland has NO other ticket platforms so this is the best way to purchase tickets and confirm your reservation for a show; no additional reservation for dinner is required to dine with us.

How do I use my tickets?

We do not use physical tickets at Birdland, so all you will need to do is provide the name on your reservation at the door when you arrive.

How do I use a Birdland Gift Card?

Birdland Gift Cards are NOT compatible with our online ticketing system. Please call us directly in order to use the gift card to cover tickets to a show. These gift cards can be used to cover meal, drink, and shopping purchases in the club as well.

How do I reserve tickets for a group?

For parties larger than 12, please contact [email protected] for assistance and availability.

Can I purchase student tickets?

Students can receive 50% off at LATE SETS ONLY on weekdays with presentation of a valid student ID. To book student tickets, please call or email us and we will make the reservation for you.

What is your cancellation/exchange policy?

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds, however you can email us at [email protected] to have your ticket credit held or exchanged for a future date.

You must notify us at least 24 hours before the performance. The ticket credit is valid six months from the date of cancellation, and can only be exchanged once. We are not able to offer transfers outside of this policy.
